At New Urban Transport, we service the bikes we sell. The guys also work on other quality brands of scooters and on vintage scooters when time allows. The bikes we sell come first but the guys can often squeeze in a tune-up for a Vespa or Aprilia. If you'd really like your 1963 Vespa restored, you're gonna have to wait until winter. There isn't time in the summer for such time-consuming work.
We don't work on junk. If it came from the internet in a crate and you never were able to get it to run properly, don't even ask.
Andrew is an excellent technician. He's an experienced Air Force plane mechanic, careful and experienced. He's really good at diagnosis. And a very pleasant and upbeat person. NUT is delighted to have him running our service department.
Kyle is working in the shop upon occasion. He's got a full time job but has loved scooters forever so lends a hand when he can.
Richard is the guy who started NUT in the first place (he spends most of his time at Centaur Cycles & Scooters in Santa Fe). He has been riding and working on bikes since before the earth's surface cooled. He is in the shop at NUT upon occasion and happily adds his knowledge and hands to solve hard problems and help with electrical diagnoses. Or uncrate bikes which just got unloaded from a very large truck.
